Would love to post a great review in regards to the quality of food however. I just moved to the area and looking for a new fave place to grab good food. I didn't make it past the phone call. I went online and searched for their menu. Called to place a to go order and was placed on hold three times. Being as though I've never ordered anything from here prior I wanted to keep the order simple. We decided on a family meal deal that included pizza, wings, bread and drink. When they answered the phone, we were rudely told that specials are only available Mon-Thurs when attempting to order such and then she asked us what else we wanted. There was no alternative option or anything. For a $3 discount they lost what would have been a $30 order and subsequent orders in the future. Icing on the cake is that they do not state anywhere on their menu that the family meal deals are not available on the weekends. Lack of customer service and removal of a meal deal on the weekends sends the message to your patrons - You're greedy and employ less than admirable staff.

Never again. Not even if they found a way to make the delicious diarrhea prone food became less greasy. So yes, the food tastes good. But I should not spend an hour getting two slices of pizza and garlic knows in an empty restaurant unless I am socializing, which I was not. the service was awful seeing as they have absolutely no idea how to advertise, do not believe in refills or checking up on you, and are not aware of their own promotions. Our waitress was a sweetheart and the only waitress there so I don't blame her. The other guys working could have done our refills and checked on us if they were going to keep the girl on the phones. We ordered one of the lunch specials on the menu only to learn it isn't valid on Sundays. Maybe you should write that on the menu? At the end I presented my Yelp check in coupon of a free fountain drink with a purchase and some guy comes over to explain that isn't theirs nor is it their website. I explained to him that Yelp is a site restaurants can get on for reviews and post coupons and specials. He denied being on Yelp. I showed him on my phone it is for the Mariner blvd location, yet he continued to talk down about it and got defensive about accepting the coupon. Alright guy, I hope you're enjoying your extra $1.95. You're going to need it with that service. He handed me a coupon for a free pizza when we left. Wouldn't accepting YOUR free drink with a purchase coupon be easier? What makes you think that is going to bring me back? No brains. No service. You can find my free pizza coupon in the garbage if you visit today.

I used to love this place! Great food AND they delivered! However, over the past year or so it has slowly gone down hill...so much so that I think tonight may have been my last visit. . The food remains great...unfortunately the management stinks! Having worked in the food industry in the past, I remember..quite clearly..how difficult and unappreciated the work is, so I do my best to NOT complain. Unfortunately, after a year of trying, tonight was the last straw. It started out when I called to place an order for take out. The young lady who answered the phone, while extremely polite and pleasant, had no clue what dinners came with what, the size or orders, or even how to pronounce most of the items I ordered...la-zog-na? Why do you have someone taking orders for food when they can't say the items or know anything about them? About six months ago, I discovered one of their dinners that I absolutely love. It is served with with soup or salad and choice of ziti or spaghetti. While I truly enjoy the entrees, the salads have, consistently, been wilted and brown; the soups are, at best, inedible; and, even after six+ months, I have yet to receive the ziti or spaghetti side. When questioned about it, they tell me that even though my item is a dinner item, the item I order doesn't really come with the side and I "don't understand." The only thing I don't understand is why, on both the in-store menu and the web site does it say it does? I'm not going to die without my pasta, it's the principal of the thing! I'm certainly going to miss those delicious garlic knots!

I returned to this establishment after finding out that ownership had changed hands, before the food was horrible, but after returning, i was surprised to find that the food like with ownership had also changed, yes the food was a lot better. I am a fan of the Stromboli, I get it with steak , bacon and onions. Though the food is better and the prices are not bad, I did find that the staff isnt that friendly, when we went it wasnt very busy, but we ended up waiting a lot longer than 30 minutes for the food, which wasnt to bad as we were conversing, but they never even came over to ask if we wanted refills. I actually ended up getting my own drink, which brought the waitress over and she got upset that I did that. I did not want to argue with her over it so I said my sorry and went about my business and we laughed it off. That was the last time we got a refill for anyone on our table. They actually got our order wrong, after the wait which then she told us that it would take another 15 or so minutes, one of the people at our table ordered and Italian hoagie, they simply brought a ham and cheese, we thought it was weird that it would take that long to make a sandwich. when they brought the sandwich, they brought it in a plate, though we asked for it to go, it was plane to see that she got upset. The food is good, the prices are not bad, comparable to other like places, for that they can get return customers. Staff not the friendliest, there were at least four people standing near the register talking about personal issues, not a big deal but when you have customers waiting and even get a refill well then you have an issue. The furniture is not in the best shape tables wobble and seem to be crammed in as to where is makes it hard to get in and out of the table without bumping into your neighbor. It grading only on the food, would have given at least 4 stars, but since I included overall service, must give two stars, will return again and when I do, will write again.

I was looking forward to trying this place as it offers (as suggested) pizza by the slice. And not just one or two, but several different types. I tried three different pizza slices and set about trying to work them against the others that I had tried previously. I had the meat pizza (very, very good), and also the pizza with olives, banana peppers, ham (also good, nothing to make it stand out) . The last pizza slice was, called the 'Florentine'. It had Roma Tomatoes, Spinach, Fresh Garlic, Feta and Mozzarella (no sauce). No sauce... I love sauce. However, this pizza is delicious. Just one slice and I wanted more.. The flavor was strong, but in a great way. Imagine you have really good sautéed spinach, and then put it on a pizza with feta. It's REALLY good. I'm going back there to have a few slices of this bad boy SOON.

I'm a pizza snob, never thought this place would offer anything near what I demand only due to the exterior and window treatments. But once inside (gee it's nice in here) and being greeted with such welcoming staff, I was NOT disappointed at all in the pizza. Flavor, actual real flavor! It's now our go to place for pizza.

Place sucks. Pizza was awful and they didn't honor the yelp check-in. Asked for Parmesan cheese and they said it was extra. Don't bother to go here. :/

This review is for the entire experience, which is the reason it gets 2 stars... if only for the service it would get no stars if possible, and if only for the pizza it would get 4 stars, but unfortunately there are other aspects that come into play. Good pizza with no complaints, pasta is mediocre at best, salads are full of nasty lettuce, and the customer service/overall attitude is downright horrendous. Very unfriendly staff and it's clearly trickling down from the foreign manager/owner who seems to have a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas. If there's a problem with anything (and there will be, trust me), it's your fault, not theirs. Period.

Very tasty pizzas and a nice variety. Eggplant (which I usually don't like) and ricotta is super. Nice lunch meals BUT these huge slices of pizza come out on a flimsy paper plate not even big enough to hold the piece entirely so part of the slice sits on a not so clean table - that's gross. When asked the waitress about this she replied that the owner does this only during lunch time (now don't go reducing the pizza sizes just get larger plates !). So a 4-star is reduced to 3-stars because of this.

Ordered a Peperoni Pizza for delivery. It arrived on time, was nice and hot, and tasty, although a bit greasy (although I find most Peperoni Pizzas a bit greasy).

Giving this place a 4 only because we have not yet been there & experienced the full menu. We came home late last night & decided to order pizza. Our local was closing (9pm!) so a quick check on Yelp led us here. The phone service great, the delivery quick & we were soon enjoying a very well made sausage pizza. Slice of Life is now on our short list of fast food!

Great pizzas, garlic knots and soup. We eat lunch here regularly (or have it delivered). Always hot and great. I love plain cheese, veggie or meatball and onion pizza. My coworkers love the bacon ranch and say it is one of the greatest pizzas ever. Enjoy.

When Slice of Life first opened, it was a huge success. Delicious pizza, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Within the past year or so, though, it's become an absolute disaster. Waiting for a waitress is like waiting for the second coming of Jesus; they are never to be found when you need something and are so help you God if you ask them for something. Rude as hell. The dinners are usually way over seasoned and over sauced. I once ordered the chicken alfredo and was served a bowl of room-temperature, jarred alfredo sauce with some bits of chicken floating around. And don't even get me started on the pizza. You and your sphincter muscles will regret it in the morning. There are plenty of other delicious pizza joints here in Spring Hill. Avoid this one.

Not very busy, but I don't know why. We have been to this incarnation of a pizza place twice, and it is far better than the previous ones. The menu is different, ingredients taste fresh, portions generous and prices reasonable. Our waitress was very good, kept a conversation when we wanted and said nothing when we didn't, and the glasses stayed full.

This is a great little pizza joint! I started coming here because of a networking meeting that I attend weekly, but now my husband and I come at least twice a week. The food is very fresh and well prepared, the portions are HUGE and the prices are extremely reasonable. They offer many different varieties of pizza that you can order by the slice, subs, salads, calzones, and a variety of pasta dishes. They also have really great homemade soups each day - actually some of the best that I've ever tasted! Honestly, I have never had a bad meal here. The service is always very good as well. I highly recommend Slice of Life for their great homemade Pizza and Italian food at a price you can't beat!
